José Vergara a.k.a. Frankie Jazz is an artist, born and raised in Cartagena, Colombia. Photographer, designer and director specializing in portraiture, corporate, entertainment and advertising projects. Inspired by a fascination with 90's music and informal documentary style and rigorous self technical training, resulting in colorful and atmospheric images that are distinct characteristics of his work.
Over the past decade, Frankie Jazz’s editorial work has been published in major magazines in the United States and Colombia such as The L.A. Times, RollingStone, Billboard, Hola, Maxim, among others. His work has appeared in many Artist Album Covers: Sebastián Yatra, Silvestre Dangond, Don Omar, Carlos Vives, Mau Y Ricky, Nacho, Alejandro Santamaría, Gusi, Diamante Eléctrico, Jonas Brothers, Ricky Martin, Santiago Cruz. His camera has taken him to document more than one tour of some of the most renowned artists in Latin America, traveling around the world capturing different cultures.
